Paytrail Payment Gateway demo for Easy Digital Downloads

I’ve been building Paytrail Payment Gateway add-on plugin for Easy Digital Downloads. It’s been fun and another step that I want to take on my WordPress trip.

I don’t go into all details just yet but there are couple of things what I’d like to say at this point.

• Easy Digital Downloads plugin is the plugin if you want to sell digital products like e-books, online courses, software, WordPress themes or plugins.
• Their support team is phenomenal.
• Plugin main author Pippin Williamson is awesome as they say in US. Not just that he knows about code inside out but more importantly, he really seems humble and honest guy. Not all WordPress gurus give that feeling online. There are as@!0#”s around in this business also.
• Paytrail have great idea how to take online shopping experience to the next level. Just check out their demo and you’ll know what I mean. Basic idea is that once user creates Paytrail account all he/she have to do later on, is to give Paytrail email address and he/she gets PIN code to his/her cell phone. Using that PIN code you can purchase your product right away. No more typing your address and credit card info over and over again.

The Paytrail Payment Gateway for Easy Digital Downloads is now on alpha and I hope to release it at the end of the 2013.
